The
Australian Motor Sport Foundation (AMSF) is excited to be piloting a
new international elite driver development program in 2008, the aim
of which is to manage and develop selected Australian drivers
competing internationally. James Davison is one of four Australian
Drivers who have been selected to be part of this program.
Foundation have continued their support in 2009.
The AMSF International Rising Star Program will leverage many of the
successful elements of the existing CAMS Rising Star Program so that
Australia's international drivers are provided with the appropriate
structures to continue their development as elite competitors.
"For the very first time, the AMSF will play an active role in the
development and management of drivers racing internationally. This
will include forming alliances with the leading racing teams in
Europe and other locations outside Australia, as well as providing
access to leading sports psychologists, driver coaches, mentors and
other support services."
